Arconic Phase 2

Rotherham

Project Overview: Acute Civil Engineering were employed to design a drainage solution for a newly installed crane base. The location of the crane base clashed with several existing surface water drainage runs that carried the symphonic drainage system from the roof of the building. Acute Civil Engineering designed a solution around the crane base and minimised further excavations in the client’s yard.

Acute Civil Engineering were employed to undertake the following civil engineering works at Arconic Phase 2, Rotherham. Our contracted works are as follows;

  • Undertake GPR survey of construction area
  • Saw cut existing concrete slabs/yard
  • Excavation and disposal of redundant materials.
  • Granular fill for piling mats
  • Setting out for steel tube piles
  • Installing pre-fabricated pile caps
  • RC works to future crane platform
  • Re-routing and Installation of surface water drainage to existing network
  • RC works to yard/slabs where new drainage had been installed.
