Project Overview: Acute Civil Engineering (ACE) was approached by a private client to assist in the design and build of a complex property extension. With our client’s vision at the forefront of innovation, ACE engaged with the Architect to develop the structural viability of the design. Our extensive experience in engineering enabled us to value engineer the scheme for our client. Several changes occurred to the internal layout at the project’s outset, forcing the pop-up locations to be relocated. However, due to the fantastic collaborative working partnership developed between the design team, the works were completed with no remedial works required.

Acute Civil Engineering were employed to undertake the following civil engineering works at Swinnow Hall. Our contracted works are as follows;

  • Excavation and disposal of redundant materials
  • RC works to strip mass fill foundations, basement slab and walls
  • Waterproofing to base and walls
  • Installation of surface water drainage to natural outfall
  • Installation of ducting for M&E services
