Project Overview: The new plant base is located at the rear of a busy live manufacturing plant, where space was limited due to the client’s storage materials and traffic movements. ACE also had to work in a live environment where the existing factory and liquid tanks had to remain in place during the construction phase. The Kawneer facility will house new acid tanks for cleaning and etching manufactured parts. 

Our in house design engineers re-designed the reinforcement to the correct dimensions and re-issued this back to the engineer for inclusion in his schedules.

Acute Civil Engineering were employed to undertake the following civil engineering works at Kawneer, Runcorn. Our contracted works are as follows;

• Site clearance
• Excavation and disposal of redundant materials
• RC works to the Acid etching plant base
• Brickwork to dumpy walls
• Grouting around structural steel baseplates
